Easy Sponge Cake

Ingredients
4 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup cold water
3/4 cup sifted flour
2 teaspoons Rumford Baking Powder
1 1/2 tablespoons Rumford Cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon lemon extract

Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

In a large bowl beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored. Add sugar gradually and beat until smooth. Add water. In a separate bowl sift flour, Rumford Baking Powder, Rumford Cornstarch and salt together and add gradually to first mixture. Add lemon extract and blend. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry; fold in. Pour into 9 inch tube pan and bake in slow oven (325° F) 1 hour. Invert pan on wire cake rack until cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or spread with Frosting.
