Fairies Cake
Ingredients

cup butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
pinch of salt
2 teaspoons Rumford Baking Powder
3 egg whites
Instructions
In a large bowl cream together the butter and sugar; add milk. In a medium bowl
combine the flour, salt and baking powder. Combine witht he butter mixture.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold them into the cake batter.
Pour into two greased 8-inch layer cake pans and bake at 350° F for 30 to 35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Frost as desired.
